By installing the Vibecheck app on your Shopify store, creating a Vibecheck dashboard account, or using any part of the Vibecheck service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app. These terms apply to merchants who install Vibecheck and to shoppers who use it on a merchant's storefront.
Vibecheck is a Shopify app that lets shoppers generate AI-created try-on images ("vibechecks") using a store's product images and photos they provide, and displays that content back on the storefront — via a product-page button and a Vibewall gallery — as social proof. Merchants get a dashboard to review, moderate, and track engagement with this content.
Paid plans are billed monthly through the Shopify Billing API and are subject to Shopify's own billing terms. Each plan includes a monthly allotment of vibechecks; using more than the included allotment is billed as additional overage blocks, up to a per-plan cap, exactly as described at checkout inside the app.
If your usage in a billing cycle exceeds your plan's included allotment plus its overage cap, Vibecheck's storefront features keep working for your shoppers, but that additional usage is not billed further until your next billing cycle begins.
Plan pricing, included allotments, and overage terms may be updated from time to time; continuing to use the app after a pricing change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Shopify refunds the unused, prorated portion of your subscription fee based on elapsed time in the billing cycle — not based on how much of your included allotment you've used.
Because of that, if you cancel having used more of your included allotment than the elapsed portion of the cycle would prorate (for example, using the entire monthly allotment on day one of a thirty-day cycle), the difference is carried on your account as a credit deficit. This is not an additional monetary charge — it is deducted from the included allotment of any future Vibecheck subscription on that store before new usage counts against it.
A subscription only becomes active once approved through Shopify's billing flow. If a subscription request is declined or expires before approval, or if Shopify pauses (freezes) an active subscription — typically due to a billing issue on the merchant's Shopify account — Vibecheck's paid features are placed on hold until an active, approved subscription is in place.
Using Vibecheck involves processing photos of shoppers (poses) and product images, and generating new AI images from them. Shoppers control the visibility of the vibechecks they create. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the app complies with applicable law in the jurisdictions you sell to, and for not submitting content you don't have the right to use.
Vibecheck images are generated using third-party AI providers. Photos and product images submitted for a vibecheck are sent to those providers solely to generate the resulting image and are not used by Vibecheck to train models. Uploaded content is subject to automated moderation, and Vibecheck may refuse to generate or may remove content that violates these terms or applicable law (including content depicting minors, non-consensual imagery, or content that is otherwise illegal or abusive).
We send transactional emails related to your account and subscription — for example, install confirmation, subscription activation, billing issues, usage-cap notices, and cancellation confirmations. These are operational, not marketing, and can't be opted out of while your account remains active, since they relate directly to your store's billing and service status.
You may stop using Vibecheck at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or terminate access to the service, with or without notice, for violation of these terms, abuse of the service, or non-payment.
Vibecheck is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vibecheck is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page; continued use of Vibecheck after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of it.
